another day, another slay

i dressed up very nicely today. it was very cold, so i had a sweater and mittens. i had earmuffs too, even though they don’t stay on my body very well. clothes generally don’t stay on me very well. i can barely wear anything aside from button-down shirts! my band gets in the way of most clothes… necklaces are lovely, but they fall off unless i stick them to my back in some manner. i’ve had to have my friends help me tape jewelry to my back before.

but anyways! it was snowing today, quite a lot. i adore walking out in the snow, but i was walking to work and didn’t want to have snow stuck to me. it’s.. embarrassing, but i do have a bit of a fear of precipitation in any form. i worry that water will get stuck in the crevice where my band connects to my head and i’ll rust! and i don’t want to risk that! sure, i take the rust-preventing medication my doctor recommended to me, but it still frightens me…
