my first entry! yay!

so, i don't really know what i have to talk about here.. i suppose i'll talk about how work was today. work was pretty good! core took the day off today (i don't know why, sadly) and he came to visit me at the bar. i wished to talk to him for longer, but he had to leave to get things for the house from the store. essentials and things like that, new sponges and all that.

i feel like i should've bought us those, since i'm the one who does all the dishwashing. core seems to HATE doing them, it's something about the texture of the food still stuck to the plates. i don't personally understand it, but that's alright. i don't think i need to understand a struggle to tolerate it, that's just not fair to the person having a rough time.

anywho, onto my actual day. ranted a bit there, my bad. the customers today were actually fairly kind, no one was being creepy or anything. it was wonderful. when i came home, i was, admittedly, sort of tired. i went STRAIGHT to bed, couldn't even stay awake to vacuum the place like i said i was going to. core prefers it if i vacuum before he comes home, he HATES the sound. i'd like to ask him why, but i don't know if he even knows why. guess we'll never know? but anyways, when i woke up, you'll never believe who i woke up next to. silly core, he'd already fallen asleep before i could even greet him. i'm glad he got to get some sleep, though. he seemed exhausted. i'd really like to know why he took off work, though. i'll have to ask him soon.
